Why do the thumbnails not show the full frame of the picture...and can the thumbnails be made smaller and thus easier to navigate?

Krueckenlover I can't seem to open that photo (access denied) like the same issue we all had a couple days ago. If i go to the thread link everything works fine so not such a big deal.
